This course is designed to provide students the opportunity to develop their own choreography through collaboration with one another. Students will be guided through activities that incorporate structured improvisation, deconstruction of music, and analyzation of text as tools for composition.
For a novice artist-scholar, this course will provide them with the opportunity to explore collaborative skills as well as choreographic tools, while for the experienced choreographer, this course is designed to reconsider habits and set aside "choreographer's block".
